Schools of India Education Summit 2026 to Focus on AI and Future of School Education

Bengaluru, Sept 16 : The three-day national Schools of India Education Summit 2026, focusing on emerging challenges, opportunities and developments in the Indian school education sector, will be held at Novotel Imagica, Khopoli, Maharashtra, from October 30 to November 1.
The summit will bring together educationists, school founders, principals, policymakers, researchers and experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and educational technology to deliberate on the future of school education in India, Dhruv Global Schools Director Anishkaa Malpani said here on Wednesday.
Organised by The School of India under the guidance of Malpani Group Director Yashvardhan Malpani, the summit will focus on integrating technology with traditional educational values, the use of AI in classrooms, and measures to improve access to quality and equitable education.
The event was announced in the presence of The School of India founder Ankit Pushparaj Verma and Anishkaa Malpani.
Verma said the summit would emphasise practical discussions and strategies that could be implemented at both institutional and classroom levels.
The discussions will cover changing teaching methodologies, innovation in learning, school leadership and institutional management, student mental health and holistic development.
Sessions and workshops will examine the growing role of AI in education, with particular emphasis on its safe, responsible and effective use. The summit will also discuss global developments in education and their implications for the Indian education system.
An education technology exhibition will be held alongside the summit, showcasing EdTech products, smart classroom solutions, educational equipment and innovative learning resources.
Speakers and mentors are expected to include Lakshmi Kumar of Avasara Academy, Sanjay Malpani of Malpani Group of Schools and Dr Swati Popat Vats of ECA and Podar Education Network.
Russell John Kelly of Almach AI will address AI in education, while Seetha Murthy of IB World Schools and Alka Pandey of Cambridge International will speak on international curricula.
Parimal Merchant of SP Jain School of Global Management and Mrinal Shah of Social Brick are also scheduled to address sessions on global business education and experiential learning.
