‘Purane Din’ brings back the warmth of first love and college friendships

Mumbai, Oct 1: The innocence of first love, college friendships and cherished memories of youthful days come alive in ‘Purane Din’, the latest song from the upcoming film Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar.
Following the popularity of ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, the creative team of Arijit Singh, Rochak Kohli, Kumaar and Luv Ranjan has reunited for the new track. The song captures the tender emotions of first love — secret glances in the classroom, unspoken feelings and the excitement of meeting a crush.
Featuring Tushar Chhibber, Sargun Kaur Luthra, Kunal Vaidya, Sakshi Vaidya, Sparsh Walia and Alisha Chopra, the song portrays the friendships and emotions that shape the early stages of a young love story.
Composed by Rochak Kohli and sung by Arijit Singh, ‘Purane Din’ has been penned by lyricist Kumaar. Its soft and emotional music seeks to recreate the warmth and innocence associated with first love and college life.
Kohli expressed gratitude for the continued love received by ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ and said the new song gave the team another opportunity to collaborate with Luv Ranjan, Arijit Singh and Kumaar. He said he hoped ‘Purane Din’ would also stay with listeners for a long time.
Kumaar said both songs are rooted in friendship and the memories people carry as they grow up. He added that ‘Purane Din’ attempts to capture the innocence of college life, when friendships, first crushes and even the smallest moments felt special.

Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar, presented by Luv Films, is directed by Anuj Saini and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23, 2026.
