HYDERABAD, Oct 5 : Cricket legend MS Dhoni, along with PadelPark India co-founders Nikhil Sachdev, Jigar Doshi and Pratik Doshi, on Monday inaugurated 7Padel MS Dhoni, a premium indoor sports and wellness facility at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

Spread across 15,000 sq ft, the facility features three padel courts, a fully equipped gym and a recovery suite offering a sauna, ice bath and infrared room. It also includes a dedicated studio for yoga and Pilates, an in-house café, viewing gallery, equipment rental services, certified coaching and local tournaments.

The facility is designed to cater to players across skill levels, from beginners to experienced competitors, while promoting padel as a sport that combines fitness, competition and social interaction.

PadelPark India Co-Founder Jigar Doshi said Hyderabad had been on the company's radar as interest in sports offering both physical activity and community engagement continues to grow.

“We want to create an inclusive environment where that culture can grow naturally through regular play, professional coaching and structured competition,” Doshi said.

Dhoni said developing quality infrastructure and encouraging wider participation were essential for the growth of any sport.

“There is no shortcut to building a sport. Build good courts, look after the people who play on them, keep the doors open to anyone willing to try, and the game grows from the grassroots up,” he said.

PadelPark India currently operates more than 50 owned and managed courts across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi, with a community of more than 55,000 players, according to the company.

The company plans to expand its presence to Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. It has so far built more than 320 courts across India and is targeting over 500 courts by the end of 2027.

The Hyderabad facility marks another step in PadelPark India's efforts to expand padel and community-focused sports and fitness infrastructure across the country.
