Two Men Injured in Firing Near Karkardooma Community Centre

New Delhi, Sep 11 : Two men sustained gunshot injuries in a firing incident near Karkardooma Community Centre in East Delhi, police said on Friday.
The injured have been identified as Afsar, a resident of Ghaziabad, and Irshad, a resident of Old Seelampur. Both suffered bullet injuries to their backs and are undergoing treatment at Hedgewar Hospital. Their condition was stated to be stable.
Police received information on Thursday evening regarding the admission of the two injured men to the hospital. A case has been registered at Anand Vihar police station, and further investigation is underway, officials said.
In a separate incident, a 29-year-old junior engineer working on a New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) project was arrested for allegedly firing two rounds into the air while travelling in a car in central Delhi's Rajinder Nagar.
The incident occurred around 2 am on Thursday in the Bada Bazaar area. Police are conducting further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the firing.
