Belagavi, Oct 31: Karnataka Upa Lokayukta B Veerappa on Saturday visited the Belagavi Tahsildar's office and inspected various official records.
During the visit, he instructed officials to provide comprehensive details regarding the phased release of compensation to houses damaged by rain, based on the extent of damage.
He directed the Revenue Department officials to ensure that all services are delivered to the public on time and at their doorstep. Stressing the need to eradicate corruption, he urged officials to discharge their duties with transparency, honesty and accountability.
